Designed an usb to uart adapter for kimch-micro, which is an open hardware single board computer for the NXP i.MX8M Mini application processor.

Salient Features:

  • Designed using open source EDA tool, KiCad
  • Uses FT230XS, which has a 1.8v/3.3v logic level voltage selection option, this can be configured through a solder jumper.
  • Fit in a very small footprint of 20mm x 40mm
